WEIGH INS: Weigh ins are scheduled for Friday, April 23, 2021, from 4:00-8:00 pm, at the Highlands Sports Complex, in Triadelphia, WV. See information below on how to print off your weigh in card. If you do not print your card off, or forget to bring it, just stand in the weigh in line and pick up a new one, just before entering the weigh in area.

****The following are the estimated start times for 2019. Note: There is no way to know the estimated times that will be used for 2021, until registration has shut off and mat assignments have been determined. The 2021 estimated start times will be posted by Thursday, April 22, 2021.

Due to the success of the "clustering" method that we employed in 2019, we will again be running it for 2021. Instead of assigning a weight to a particular mat, a "cluster of weights" are assigned to a group of mats (side by side). In 2019, this allowed for us to be able to get folks in and out quicker. In fact, most weights were completed in less than 3 hours.

However, we will start the younger Age Groups off in the first two session, so that all Bantam, Midget, Junior and first two Girl's Divisions wrestlers should be done prior to 4:30 pm. The Elite and Open Divisions will also run in the morning waves. Schoolboy and Cadet wrestling will run anywhere from 2:30-10 pm.

Again, once final numbers are known, we will post that information here (Thursday before the event). Below you can see the Schedule that was used in 2019. Most every weight class was completed in 3 hours, or less.

2021:

We have done our best to try to estimate the start times for each weight. In doing so, we have estimated the time to make sure that the next weight arrives prior to their actual starting time. Please check your bracket to see the starting number in your weight class and then monitor the bout number on the scoreboard. We average close to 14 bouts per hour, so that should give you a good time estimate of your match times.

Friday night weight changes, flow of the mat and whether you have a BYE first round can affect the time any particular wrestler will wrestle his first match.

NOTE: TEAM ASSIGNMENTS, FOR BRACKETING PURPOSES WILL NOT BE DETERMINED UNTIL SATURDAY AFTERNOON




The tournament will be run on FLO Arena where you can get real time results, brackets and mat assignments.

      Weight classes will be assigned to a certain Mat Grouping. Each mat grouping will start with bout # 1 and run consecutively until the last match in that grouping. Bout numbers are how the matches will be assigned to each Mat Grouping.
     Matches will be assigned on first available basis on any of the mats in your grouping. Bout Boards will be available behind each Mat Grouping to check for your mat assignment. When you bout number appears on the Bout Board, please report to you mat and check-in at the scorers table.

Schedule

Beginning in 2009, you may print your own weigh in card from our site. Once your entry has been accepted, you will be able to print it out. However, if you change weight, you will need to print out a new card. If you do not print your card out, you will be able to pick one up at the tournament site. To print card: log back into your account, click on my account, click on manage wrestlers, click on the the black box to the right of his name and scroll down to "Print Weigh In Card"

Change of weights will be allowed at weigh-ins, if space in the new bracket exists. The fee to change weights at the site will be $50.00 ($25 for Open and Girl's Divisions)

How to change weights and Late Registration

Weights must be changed by clicking on registration; enter your user name/password and then select the change of weight option. Your current weight class will then be displayed. You can do an on-line weight change until the date listed on our Main Page. There may be a weight change fee, if done after the deadline on the home page.

*Weights with more than 60 wrestlers, in the afternoon session, may begin prior to the time listed, but this information would be posted at weigh ins.

***Wrestling is scheduled to take place in the Indoor Football Field. There is some seating on the field level and additional standing room on an above balcony. Due to COVID policies, attendance may be limited and masks required of all attendees (other than those wrestling or on-deck). Chairs may be brought in, but may not be placed on the football field. We may allow some on field seating, but you would need to bring a blanket to sit on. Also, no food or drink, other than water, is allowed on the indoor football field.

***Note: An exact time schedule cannot be given, as it is impossible for us to know the numbers we will end up with and the start time for each weight or cluster.

Also, beginning in 2019, we are planning on running weights in clusters. Clustered groups should finish, in their given time slot, prior to the next group of weights beginning. A MANDATORY 15 rest time will be given to wrestlers.

This has also proved to eliminate most all of the congestion at the awards area.
